"The modern Western diet is killing us; and it is one of our biggest exports to the world. In the U.S. alone, obesity and malnourishment are responsible for roughly $163B in annual healthcare costs. Globally, health issues tied to diet have reached $3.5 trillion; and those numbers are growing. Future 50 was created to lead the Dietary Health Recovery Initiative in partnership with industry innovators, governments, institutions, and agencies; bringing innovation, creativity, engagement, and real solutions to address root problems and needs. Future 50 is a testament to the will of dedicated changemakers and humanitarians."
- Chris Mau, CEO

Future 50 exists to secure and manage the necessary investments to bring the Dietary Health Recovery Initiative (DHRI) to life; spearheading the development and procurement of the programs and assets essential for the DHRI's success.

Branding Origin

The brand “Future 50” directly speaks to the focus on our future.  The number 50 and the brand colors are representative to origin as Future 50 was born in the United States, comprised of 50 States, and materialized as a direct result of the White House Conference on Hunger Nutrition and Health.

Future 50 Logo

Logo

Future 50's logo is designed to encompass several key elements. It draws inspiration from the original Hunger Nutrition and Health (HNH) initiative launched 50 years ago, with a focus on addressing malnutrition. The logo incorporates a 1960s style font, reminiscent of the era. It also takes inspiration from the 1964 World Fair, using a red and blue color palette that ties into the colors of the United States while maintaining a connection to the 1960s aesthetic. The logo features a rocketship, symbolizing speed and thrust towards innovation, strategically placed to represent global reach and impact.

Future 50's is the result of a public-private partnership pack emanating form the White House Conference on Hunger Nutrition and Health and is required to publish a public annual report on its activities upon signed release from representative advisory and steering committees.  The organization was formed for the public benefit and is charged with developing program assets, engaging governments, institutions, businesses, and the public to disseminate programming and implement beneficial technologies while acquiring and leveraging critical resources.

Future 50 derives revenue through grants, endowments, and other sources or public and private funding in addition to funds derived through global sales and placement of DHRI products and solutions.  Future 50 collaborates with government and organizational partners serving as a leading provider of solutions for global malnutrition challenges, utilizing technology, workforce development, and economic improvements for vulnerable populations.
